Colin

LA CAÑADA, CALIFORNIA

Recently, Colin turned one years old and to celebrate, his parents, Drew and Deborah, threw him a dinosaur-themed party in the quiet Los Angeles County neighborhood of La Cañada. The party decorations looked adorably ferocious with balloons and dinosaur blow-up dolls neatly scattered throughout. Colin noticed them amicably, and when in the vicinity of one, would point to it and make those cute sounds that babies make. Oh, I love photographing babies!

And following the Korean tradition of turning one known as Doljanchi, Colin’s family gathered around the room to see what career path this little guy would take. He dressed up in a cute traditional Korean outfit, and picked up one of the object laid in front of him, which was a ruler.

Congratulations on turning one, Colin! Thank you for having me as your one-year birthday photographer!

Lethy

In my previous post, I highlighted some of my favorite shots from Lethy and Mark’s in-home maternity shoot. As we get closer to the due date of Mateo, this wonderfully orchestrated baby shower is put on with the theme ‘Little Man’, filled with moustaches and bow ties!

Lisa

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA

A couple of Saturdays ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Lisa’s birthday event at the W hotel in Westwood! The group of ladies came from all over the place to celebrate Lisa’s birthday, which I thought was so sweet. We photographed inside the hotel suite as well as various places on the hotel grounds. Brisa

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

It was pretty amazing catching up with Brisa and her parents last week during Brisa’s 1 year birthday party, especially since I took her 6-month photos and she wasn’t even walking yet! Now, she’s walking, talking (or at least, making those cute baby noises), and giving her guests high five. But one thing that hasn’t changed is her adorable smile.

Set in their apartment’s community room is where her first birthday party was thrown. With colorful decorations that included balloons in the rainbow colors, candies and cupcakes, and party hats. In the middle of the event, a musician came and performed for the guests, and the kids were given their own instruments to play with. It was too adorable!
