During one of Southern California’s famous heatwave, Maya held her outdoor birthday party. Thankfully, she held it right by the marina! The breeze was very welcoming, just as much as the smiles on the faces of everyone that attended. And of course, Maya’s smile was the biggest of them all. She looked so cute with her felt-and-glitter tiara!

In a quiet beautiful mid-century home in LA, Jack had his first Backyard Birthday Party and it was an intimate affair with close friends in attendance. Soon enough, though, the party was “raising the tent” as everyone gathered under the outdoor tent, singing some fun songs, shaking some instruments, and playing with some bubbles. Ah, to be one again.

I’m ecstatic to say that this event – The Heart Series – is the first event that Paper Ban Photography has ever helped sponsor an event. The Heart Series is a two day business conference that gathers like-minded business companies and individuals that want to change the world for the better. And the guest speakers list was phenomenal. It included Robert Egger – Founder of LA Kitchen, Duke Stump – Executive Vice President Community of Lululemon, Miki Agrawal – CoFounder and CEO of Thinx, Loretta Whitesides – Founding Astronaut of Virgin Galactic, and so many more.
I walked in the Gas Tower building thinking I would be photographing an event, and walked out mesmerized by the sheer kindness in every attendee’s hearts, and asked how can I help the world be just a little better. It was an amazing event to be a sponsor of, and I happy to share some of the images from the conference!
