Kian and Kameron’s Playground Birthday

I have never had the pleasure of photographing twins.. until now! And the sweetest twins they were! Kian and Kameron celebrated their 4th birthday at the Caterpillar Kids Place in La Cañada with the awesome theme of Disney’s Cars. It very quickly became apparent why the theme was Cars – these two boys spent the majority of their playing time vroom-vrooming in those colorful cars.

With smiles on their faces, they played and danced along with their fellow youngsters. It wasn’t long before many of the adults took note and started breaking out in dances to a Columbian song, though! Haha.

Newborn Reese

MONTROSE, CALIFORNIA

It is always a pleasure photographing clients on more than one occasion. When I first photographed Randy and Jamie, it was for their backyard wedding ceremony and reception. Now, over a year later, I get to witness their family grow as they welcome a new addition: Reese.

I took some shots of her bedroom, and I love how it’s decorated! It’s very beach-themed, from the anchor shelf filled with animals and fishes, the pillow with the quote “What happens at the beach, stays at the beach”, and the seafoam color scheme (with splashes of pink accents, of course!). I would love to have had this as my baby room!

We took these photographs while Reese was only a few days old. She was a small baby, so cute and cuddly! Nothing could disturb her from sleeping, and when she did wake up for feeding time, she went back to sleep after a huge adorable yawn. I’m happy to have been her Los Angeles newborn photographer!

Perry

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA

During a clear and bright day in Southern California, a little girl name Perry celebrated her 1 year birthday. It was a celebration that graduated her from the year of being a baby into her next stage in life – being a toddler.

The birthday celebration took place in her backyard that overlooked the Pasadena neighborhood. Perry was dressed in a cute floral outfit as she enjoyed the party, until it was time for business. In the Korean tradition, when a baby turns one, they ‘choose their future’, meaning they are placed on a mat with several objects in front of them, each symbolizing a different career. Perry, now in her adorable traditional Korean dress, crawled towards the ruler.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, a future architect! Thank you, Perry, for having me as your one-year birthday photographer!
