Linda and Vince’s Vietnamese Wedding in Vegas

Las Vegas Vietnamese Wedding Photographer

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

It’s exciting to think that last year, I photographed wedding throughout three different state – California (of course), Texas, and for this wedding, Nevada! What’s even more special is that the bride is my long-time friend from ELEMENTARY! How crazy is that?! Excitements were definitely high when we photographed their engagement session at Huntington Beach, and I couldn’t believe that it was finally time for their big day!

In a sunny day in Las Vegas, Linda and Vince started the day with a Vietnamese tea ceremony at their house, then the lovely ceremony at Our Lady of Lavang, and the reception at the Rio Hotel. Linda and Vince, thanks so much for having me as your Las Vegas Vietnamese Wedding Photographer!

Avani and Anuj’s Festive Indian Wedding

Los Angeles Indian Wedding Photographer

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA

One Sunday morning, I entered one of the hotel rooms of DoubleTree Inn in Anaheim and saw that our bride Avani, with her red robe and hands covered in artful Henna tattoo, was getting her makeup done in the corner of the room. Soon, it was time to put her stunning wedding outfit on, and even with the help of her friend, this task was quite the ordeal!

But when all was said and done, and Avani met her groom Anuj for the first time that day, everything fell into place and the celebration started in an uproar. Anuj pulled into the hotel parking lot in an Ashton Martin while guests from his side of the family paraded around, dancing and playing music. Ah, the festivities! So much happening before the ceremony even started!

Kellie and Michael’s Wedding at the Torrance Woman’s Club

TORRANCE, CALIFORNIA

Arriving to Torrance Woman’s Club wedding, all of the ladies were in a frenzy getting ready. Except, that is, Kellie, the bride herself. She was as cool as a cucumber and had a go-with-the-flow attitude towards everything unplanned. The same was with Michael, her groom, and it made perfect sense how they can love each other so much.

Christine and Abdul’s DTLA Wedding at HNYPT

Downtown Los Angeles Wedding PhotographerlocationLOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

When I spoke to Christine and Abdul during their DTLA engagement session, they were so excited about what they had planned. And when the time finally came for their big day, I loved seeing their vision come to life. They got ready at the contemporary venue in Koreatown called The Line Hotel where cemented walls were beautifully exposed.

And then they move to HNYPT, a nondescript venue in downtown Los Angeles on the outside, but beautifully exposed bricks on the inside. Oh, the decor was just magical, and full of DIY by the bride herself! Christine looked absolutely amazing in her flowing tulle dress and her hot pink Converse sneakers matching Abdul’s black sneakers. Okay, they’re officially too cool for me, haha.

Karina and Misa Wedding at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe

Rancho Buena Vista Adobe WeddinglocationSAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA

It’s crazy to think that years after high school ended, I would be reunited with an old high school classmate by photographing her wedding day. What’s possibly even crazier is that I was apparently also in the same middle school as her fiancé! Small world, seriously. But I’m glad it happened, as Misa and Karina’s Vista wedding at Rancho Buena Vista Adobe venue was SUCH a joy to photograph.

After photographing their engagement session in Julian, I found out how laid back they were. It wasn’t until photographing their wedding did I REALLY find out how laid back they were. From introducing the wedding party by doing a Star Wars skit, to dancing on the dance floor with a guest dressed up as a dinosaur, to doing a mosh pit, they were ready to have fun and every moment was filled with surprises.

As a bonus, I was even able to chat with a newlywed couple guest that I had the honor of photographing last year. Ah, fun times.
